Jamaica’s new fashion district in Kingston was launched in May 2021 at Heart Trust/NTA Garmex Academy, led by Faith Johnson, Managing Director of Caramel Rock U.K. The launch is part of a development for a country wide framework to see the growth of fashion & textiles skills training programme to create a framework of tools and resources to see the growth of fashion skills training to contribute to the skills gaps of Jamaica to develop garment manufacturing opportunities in Jamaica.
